  • The Engineers Arms: 7 Main St - Recently re-opened, a very nice pub in a good location and a nice pint of Adnam’s bitter

  • The Parrot and Punchbowl: 01728 830221 Aldringham Lane, Aldringham, Leiston, Suffolk IP16 4PY - A lovely family run public house serving great food, closed on Mondays
  • The Vulcan Arms: 01728 830748 Sizewell, Leiston, Suffolk IP16 4UD - A public house a short distance outside of the town towards the beach, serving food, an excellent carvery on Saturday evenings and roasts on Sunday. Music on Friday evenings.
  • Plough & Sail: 01728 688 413 Snape Maltings, Suffolk, IP17 1SR - A homely and welcoming pub serving a range of traditional booked pub lunches and local ales. At Snape Maltings, they are lucky enough to have their own village pub on the site. There has been a pub there since the 16th century, when it was a smugglers inn. Today, the traditional bar area is complemented by a light and airy modern restaurant.

You'll also find a large range of cards and postcards, illustrated or photographed by artists from East Anglia.
  • The Bell: 01728 602 331 31 High St Saxmundham Suffolk IP17 1AF - The Bell At Sax' serves good food in a laid-back atmosphere. They offer what they like to enjoy when dining out, perhaps loosely labelled in chef parlance as 'Modern British' but best described as real food, proper local ingredients, carefully cooked to get the best on to the plate in comforting, indulgent but contemporary dishes. Lunch is served from 12 noon till 2.30pm. Dinner is served from 6 - 9.30pm.

  • The Crown Inn: 01728 688324 Bridge Rd, Snape, IP17 1SL - The Crown Inn is an Adnams owned 15th century smugglers inn located in the village of Snape between Aldeburgh and Orford. There is a spacious garden, ideal for summer dining. They take great pride in their menu offering dishes cooked from locally sourced seasonal produce including their own home reared meats and produce from their own allotment. Their food is complimented by Adnams beers and a choice of over thirty different wines.
  • Regatta Restaurant Aldeburgh: 01728 452 011, 171 High Street, Aldeburgh - From April to September their emphasis is on locally caught fish and seafood. However they always have vegetarian, Poultry and meat dishes available.

  • The Butley Orford Oysterage: 01394 450277 - is situated on the Market Square between Orford Church and the Castle. It is predominantly a fish restaurant, serving oysters, smoked delicacies, local fresh fish and shellfish as well as fish dishes from all over the world. The presentation and surroundings are simple and uncomplicated, a culmination of over 40 years experience.

  • The Westleton Crown: 01728 648777, The Street, Westleton, Suffolk IP17 3AD - If there are two words to describe the food, they would be 'hearty' yet sophisticated. Head Chef, Robert Mace, and his highly skilled team pride themselves on their imaginative and varied menus which have earned them an AA 2 Rosette restaurant award, as well as a considerable reputation.
  • The King’s Head: 01728 668871, Brook St, Yoxford, Suffolk IP17 3EX - A freehouse offering a whole range of different lagers, bitters, guest ales, wine and spirits. Their menu is varied with both high end delectable dishes, old English pub favourites and seasonal favourites. During the shooting season they offer fantastic pheasant, partridge and Game dishes, all provided by the local Kelsale shoot
